What We Believe

“For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord…” II Cor. 4.5

William Blackburn Ministries is committed to:

• The Bible as the Word of God, inspired, infallible, and inerrant, so that it is the divinely authoritative standard for every age and every life.
• The autonomy of the local church with Jesus Christ as its head.
• The eternal Godhead – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – and that these three are one God.
• The Supremacy of Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, perfect in his life, who died for our sins, and was buried and bodily rose again, according to the scripture.
• The sovereignty of God in all matters pertaining to salvation and holiness.
• Salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
• The eternal security of all those who have been “born again” by the Spirit of God.
• The responsibility of every true believer to be a watchman, announcing salvation through Christ alone.
• The joy of living the abundant life of Christ, available only through the death of self and submission to the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
• The imminent return of Jesus Christ.
• The certainty of eternal life in heaven for those who recieve Jesus Christ.
• The certainty of eternal judgement and hell for those who reject Jesus Christ.
